Chiropractic Simplified
In Chiropractic, an analysis is made of the joints of the spine/body which have lost their proper motion/function and have a detrimental effect on your health. Such areas are characterized by decreased motion, tenderness, muscle spasm and often nerve irritation or interference.
At a CHIROExpress® Office, after your spine/joints are tested for restricted movement, a hand held instrument is used on the offending joints to mobilize them. This is called an adjustment. All you feel is a light tap and hear a clicking noise from the instrument itself.
On subsequent visits the testing procedures are repeated and the necessary adjustments are made. By comparing the areas still requiring treatment with those previously treated, an evaluation of your progress can be made.
